OLIVIA KRIMPAS
Olivia is a print-maker based in London. Her etchings are a celebration of colour, gesture and mark-making. A quietly inquisitive artist, with a practice that has developed over decades, she continues to explore the endless variety within this timeless technique, producing both figurative and abstract work.
“I develop my prints by combining three processes: painting, drawing and etching. These enable me to find the fluid, rhythmic quality of objects and people in action. One of my preoccupations is the definition of moving forms in space. This sense of movement has been inspired by my history of working in dance."
